Do all D-1 teams still have walk on tryouts?

Back in the crisp year of 1994 I walked on UC, never playing a lick of football in my life and made the team. I took a beating, but a great experience. Lol

I know I can call UC Monday, but do most D-1 schools still have the winter walk on camps? Anyone know?

Anyone can tryout but they have “preferred people” trying out as well.

I know someone who tried out at Florida state. Told me it was a cool experience

Yea, there were preferred players too when I walked on.

I’m trying to convince my nephew to do it. His junior year he blew his knee out. Didn’t get any offers.

i have a buddy from high school (awesome guy, average player) who was able to walk on to FSU. He was the scout team RB who would get the snot knocked out of him all the time and Bowden LOVED him

He played on the national championship team and got a ring. I wanna say he dressed for that game but dont know for a fact
